About Mama Odie's
Story
I've made Trinidadian food all my life, shared it with my husband, kids, friends and neighbors. It was when my kids were teenagers and they'd bring their friends over to try some of my dishes from Trinidad, mainly the beach and street food type dishes, that I was told by so many of them that my dishes could do so well if sold to the general public. I have a large variety of Trinidadian Food that I can cook, but I had to narrow it down to a small menu and things I can cook more easily in a small trailer. We experimented with a lot of people trying my food and was able to narrow it down to a few amazing and flavorful dishes, hence my current menu. However I can cater all types of Trinidadian food and will from time to time serve other dishes in our Secret Menu on the Food Trailer.
