Arempas is a true family business, built from love, hustle, and the desire to share authentic Venezuelan food with Utah. We were one of the first Venezuelan families here, and our mom, Sandy, cooked from home to raise money for school and sports for us kids. Those homemade meals quickly became community favorites, and that support helped us open our first storefront right before the pandemic. Somehow with heart, grit, and a lot of arepas we survived. We grew to five locations, learned some hard lessons, closed a few, kept the ones with the most love, and recently opened another. Now we’re launching our food truck to join events across Utah and bring our flavors directly to the people.
