From a very young age, I loved to cook, so when high school was over, culinary school was the natural next step. After graduating, I ran into a lot of challenges with head chefs — most of them reminded me of the really mean side of Gordon Ramsay, which made me grow bitter toward the kitchen and the industry. At around 28 years old, I thought to myself, “I still want to cook for a living, but I don’t want a boss or head chef constantly yelling at me.” Then it hit me. Start a food truck! We put in the hours, worked farmers markets for three years, and finally, in our fourth year, we were able to launch the food truck!
