9-1-26 Bomb Dilla started 9 years ago with a lot of faith, hard work, and a growing family. I decided to take a chance on starting my own food truck because I’ve always had a passion for food. I wanted to build something of my own and create an opportunity to build a business while doing something I truly enjoy. We actually started the business while we were pregnant with our first child, so from the very beginning, Bomb Dilla has been a family journey. Today, we have two children, ages 8 and 4, who have grown up alongside the business. They’ve been a big part of our motivation and have gotten to experience all the hard work, long days, and rewarding moments that come with owning a small business. Being able to build something that our family can be proud of has made the journey especially meaningful. When it came to choosing the menu, I wanted to focus on food that I genuinely love and that people would enjoy and come back for. I took inspiration from my background, family, and the flavors I grew up with, while also paying attention to what my customers enjoyed most. Over the years, the menu has continued to grow and evolve based on customer feedback and what has been successful. It’s hard to believe it has already been 9 years! There have definitely been challenges along the way, but it has been incredibly rewarding to see the business grow and to have so many wonderful customers and supporters along the journey. I’m very grateful for my family, employees, customers, and everyone who has supported us along the way. I’m very proud of how far we’ve come.6)
